When the button opens the Old Papers section, search or filter by the recruitment name and match the release date, subject or paper number, and master code shown below. This safer route avoids inventing a file address. A coaching PDF, recalled set, screenshot or forwarded document is not labelled as the official master paper here.

Master paper, booklet series and subject are different
RSSB can publish a master question paper for checking and objection work even when candidates received different booklet series or question orders in the examination hall. The master code identifies the board record used in the Old Papers or Answer Keys table. It should not be assumed that the same question number or option order appears in every candidate booklet. Match the exam, paper number or subject, and master code first; then read the instructions printed with the applicable official answer key.
Where an examination has Paper I and Paper II, or several subjects and professional streams, every row remains separate. One file cannot safely stand in for another merely because the recruitment title is similar. The table on this page records only the verified labels and codes; it does not invent a paper pattern, subject weightage, shift allocation or marking rule that is absent from the audited row.
How to download and verify the correct paper
- Open the official Old Papers section or the exact RSSB PDF linked above.
- Match the complete recruitment name and year instead of selecting a similarly named older examination.
- Check the paper number, subject, teaching level or professional stream shown in the row.
- Confirm the master paper code against the code in this article before saving the file.
- Keep the original filename or add the exam name and code when saving so different papers are not mixed later.
- Return to the official RSSB Answer Keys section for the corresponding key; do not rely on a key for a different paper.
If the Old Papers page changes its layout, use the recruitment name, release date and code rather than a visual position in the table. A later correction or replaced file on the RSSB domain takes priority over a previously downloaded copy. RSSBUpdates does not mirror, alter or unlock the board PDF.
A practical way to use this previous paper
Start with one timed attempt under quiet exam-like conditions. Do not open an answer key during the first attempt. Mark questions you could not solve, questions where two choices looked close, and questions that consumed too much time. After finishing, compare only with the matching official answer key and note why an answer was wrong. Separate a knowledge gap from a reading mistake, calculation error or time-management problem.
On a second attempt, revise the relevant syllabus topics and solve the difficult questions again without looking at the earlier response. Use repeated errors to prepare a short revision list. The paper can help reveal question style and personal weak areas, but one previous paper does not prove the exact pattern or difficulty of a future examination. The current recruitment notice, syllabus and exam scheme remain the controlling preparation documents.
Use the official answer key carefully
A provisional key, final key and result are different records. A provisional key may provide an objection window; a final key reflects the board’s later decision. When comparing answers, use the key for the same master paper and read any instructions about deleted questions, bonus treatment, option order or evaluation.
Safety, copyright and false-link warning
A public RSSB question-paper PDF does not require an SSO password, OTP, bank PIN or private payment to view. Avoid websites or messages that ask for credentials, promise marks or selection, or provide an executable file instead of a PDF. Use the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board domain for the public record. The question paper belongs to its issuing authority and is linked for candidate reference; RSSBUpdates does not claim ownership or sell access.
