1. Detailed Information

RSSB VDO Document Verification 2026 covers the official document-verification records for Village Development Officer (VDO) Direct Recruitment 2025. The latest audited notice on this page is dated 27 June 2026. A candidate should first match the recruitment, roll number, candidate group and notice stage before using any date or reporting instruction.

Official RSSB document-verification links

Use an exact RSSB-hosted PDF when one is linked. If a timeline entry opens the official News or Results section, match the recruitment name, full document title and release date shown below. That route is used instead of guessing an unverified file address. A screenshot, forwarded message, coaching list or social-media post should not replace the current board record.

A shortlist, main DV schedule, revised order, postponed schedule, additional-candidate list and last-chance notice are not interchangeable. An earlier schedule may remain useful for its checklist or formats while a later order changes reporting dates. Likewise, an additional list applies to the candidates named in that file; it does not create a general walk-in date for everyone.

How to confirm whether the notice applies to you

  1. Confirm the exact recruitment year, post name and advertisement number where one is shown.
  2. Open the latest applicable order, then check whether an older schedule was revised, postponed or limited to a different candidate group.
  3. Search the public candidate PDF by roll number. Match the subject, post, area, category or division where the schedule separates candidates.
  4. Read the heading above the candidate row and note the date, reporting time, venue and any part number printed in that file.
  5. If the roll number appears only in an additional or absent-candidate list, follow that notice rather than the main schedule.
  6. Check the official News section once more before travelling so a same-day correction or later order is not missed.

Being listed for document verification normally means the candidate has been called for eligibility and original-document checking at that stage. It should not be described as final selection, appointment or joining unless RSSB or the appointing department issues the corresponding final record. If a name and roll number conflict, rely on the official candidate identifier and contact the authority through an announced channel.

Documents and forms: use the exact official checklist

The required papers can differ by recruitment and candidate claim. Open the checklist, instructions and standard formats attached to the applicable notice. Prepare originals and the number of self-attested copies stated there. Check whether the notice asks for an application print, admit card, photo identity proof, educational records, date-of-birth proof, domicile or category evidence, marriage-status documents, experience certificate, departmental permission, disability certificate, sportsperson record, affidavit or a board-prescribed form. This list is only a reading guide, not a universal checklist.

Names, parents’ names, date of birth and category details should be consistent across the application and certificates. If the official notice requires a particular issuing authority, validity period, certificate date or format, a different document may not establish the claim. Do not create, edit or purchase a certificate. For a genuine mismatch or pending correction, use only the remedy stated by RSSB or the competent issuing department.

Date, venue and reporting instructions

Venue note: The January DV was held at the Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Institute, JLN Marg, Jaipur; verify any later candidate-specific instruction. Reporting note: The January schedule used candidate-specific dates; absent-candidate opportunities and the June additional list are not general walk-in dates.

Plan travel only after matching the candidate row. A board-wide notice can contain separate venues, divisions, subjects, dates or sessions. Reach within the time allowed by the official instructions and keep a downloaded copy of the notice. RSSBUpdates does not issue a call letter, allot a venue, accept documents or change a reporting slot.

The recorded last or special opportunity is 17 January 2026. It is not an open extension for all candidates. Use it only if the applicable RSSB notice includes the candidate, division, post or absent-candidate group.

What happens after document verification

After verification, the board may publish a deficiency notice, additional list, revised eligibility record, final result, recommendation list or another candidate instruction. The next step is recruitment-specific. Keep the application and verification acknowledgement safely, watch the official News and Results sections, and do not assume that silence or document acceptance confirms selection. A later official record takes priority over the status summarised here.

Avoid false links and payment requests

Public RSSB PDFs do not require a payment to reveal a roll number. Do not share an SSO password, OTP, bank PIN or card details with RSSBUpdates, a messaging group or an unknown helper. Ignore anyone promising selection, certificate approval, a changed merit position or a private DV slot. Use only the official board domain and the contact or representation process stated in the applicable notice.
